All performances are listed on the Calendar of our website. Every performance date is also shared by email with all members of the relevant choir.
If you have not received an email and there is no performance listed on the calendar, then nothing is planned!

A large part of our repertoire comes from suggestions within our community. Every quarter, we hold an online vote, giving members the opportunity to help shape the songs we sing.
Before a song makes it onto the voting list, we carefully research whether it’s a good fit for our choir. Song selection involves balancing multiple factors, including finding arrangements that resonate with both choir members and audiences while also navigating publication costs, licensing fees, and funding requirements. While many popular songs are suggested, some may not have suitable choral arrangements, are too expensive, or no legal performance rights available.
As a community-driven choir, we prioritize connection and inclusivity over perfection. Our song choices span a range of styles and difficulty levels to ensure accessibility for as many members as possible.
We also consider our yearly concert program when selecting repertoire. Factors such as performability, instrumentation, audience participation, and concert themes all play a role in our decisions.
If you’ve found a choral arrangement you’d like us to consider, please share it with your choir representative team or email us directly at info@internationalenglishchoirs.com.
We rely on our members to bring great arrangements to our attention. Each year, we sing 12–15 songs but receive hundreds of suggestions, so while we appreciate every submission, we unfortunately can’t accommodate them all!

Our choir operates as a self-sustaining system, which means we rely on the ability to accurately forecast our number of paying members each quarter. Because of this, pausing a membership is not possible.
However, you’re always welcome to cancel your membership and rejoin when you’re ready. If the group is full at that time, we’ll add you to the waiting list and notify you as soon as a spot becomes available!

Yes, of course! Just keep in mind that our choirs sing modern music that is protected by GEMA licensing fees. This means that the organizer of the concert would need to pay the GEMA fees, which are usually 800€ and up. For this reason, it is rare that we are able to perform at church concerts, school concerts, senior homes, etc. Typically we do events organized by the city (City Festivals, Christmas Markets, etc.)
If you have an idea for a possible concert, please bring it up to you choir committee! You can contact them through your member portal.

Yes! We’re always happy to welcome new people to try out the choir.
For the safety of our members and to help with rehearsal planning, all guests must provide their name and email address to our administration. They’re welcome to attend up to two rehearsals for free before deciding whether to join as an official member.
-
You’re free to cancel anytime—simply stop your monthly payment and let us know you won’t be continuing. If you choose to rejoin later, we’ll add you to the waiting list and notify you as soon as a spot becomes available.
To cancel, just inform your choir representative team or email us at info@internationalenglishchoirs.com.
